Change of plan for the transmission tunnel

 I had previously covered the tunnel in diamond pattern vinyl but changed my mind and wanted a more race car look.

I removed the vinyl then cleaned the glue off using acetone (respirator on)

I then made a surround plate from ali and brushed all the ali with a random orbit sander and 120 grit disc

New rubber gaiter and a machined alloy surround from an Audi. Lastly I added a gear shift extender I got from the States. 

Will all be rivetted down next time I have the compressor out.
