Spinner Mounts, more dash stuff and a new toy!

 So whilst I have my alloy 17's I also have a set of black Renault steelies. I bought the Europaspares spinners and some short wheelnuts. I then bought some Rota high centre caps which I thought would be high enough to clear the shorties.....

Not so! So I came up with this solution with stuff I had in the garage...

The white plastic piece you see above is the threaded mount for the spinner....

I dilled it and put a 21mm spacer I had and bolted it to the centre cap...

Fits perfectly now, good result!

I have mentioned that I have relocated the busbar to the bulkhead under the dash and here it is

All cables now secured with a rubber lined p-clip

Looks so much tidier now up top.

Prepping to get the dash in and trim earths and lives

Everything marked up with my printer...

Then I protected any edges which could cause chaffing of the wires and secured everything nicely..

It has to be at least two years that I have been promising myself a car lift. I am limited on space but found this one...

Its from CJ Autos and runs on a 1200 watt drill...

A total game changer for me and the amount of time I spend on car projects, my back is already thanking me!
