Shocked and exhausted today!!

New coilovers now fitted, they wind up very high which is perfect for IVA on the Replicar. Many people have had issues with the rear lights being too low to meet the legal/IVA test requirements.

Exhaust put loosely together with a new CAT and the original MX5 mk2 CAT to back box run. The mk2 needs 'modifying' or persuading to fit the chassis but the extra silencer helps with noise reqs for IVA
It may or not be changed later to a stainless cat back pipe.

The rear stainless box was then fitted. Its a dual exit Jetex system for a mk2. I modded the rear of the Replicar rear body seat so it fits perfectly now.

I also cut off a mount from a standard Mk2 back box to modify and weld to the chassis for a second exhaust hanger.

The pipes are adjustable and I may just be able to adjust them to clear the underside of the body. If not I will have them fabricated or modded to have a dogleg in them.

Body exit exhausts anyone??? :-) But seriously, image just shows the adjustable tail pipes!

Then a quick test fit of the dash, Looks very cool I think.

Time log update on the garage whiteboard and thats 6 full days so far. Back is in bits today but all worth it! :-)
